Prayers For God's Control, pray for Faron Boreham Options

Faron Boreham is an ex Navy SEAL and a long time friend. He was my boss in two different schools. He is also a godly man and loves the Lord. He is having a difficult time right now and the evil one is attacking him on several fronts. He needs serious prayers.

First, his son and daughter in law just had a son named Jayden who is three months premature. He is in Kosair hospital in Louisville. He will be there for at least a couple of months. Faron said he was the size of his hand... Pray for this child to thrive and grow! Pray for the parents Lee and Diana to be strong and courageous! Pray for God to keep them close to him and give them continual hope. This is one of the best hospitals in the country for infants... their neo-natal ICU is as good as any in the country. Pray for the docs and nurses there!

Faron's mother has cancer and is now in hospice care. It does not appear that she will be here much longer. We know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord... it still hurts to lose your mother. It hurts to see them go thru the process of death to cancer. Pray for his mother and for the entire family please.

On top of that, and if you don't have a dog, you will think this is a small matter. If you have a dog, you know how much it can hurt. They just lost the family pet of 16 years. There are hurts on top of hurts here.

When things pile up like that, you start to wonder if God is listening to you or if he has forgotten where you are. Perhaps God has lost you email address, or if you lost his! God is still in control! Pray that God will comfort Faron and his wife in all of this. One of the names of the Holy Spirit is "THE COMFORTER." That is not just who he is, it is what he does! Jesus left earth so the Comforter could come to us! Pray for comfort for my friend please. They truly need our prayers. God truly will answer! Pray for him to be encouraged and to have great spiritual strength right now. He needs that to be a leader and comforter for his son and his wife. Ask God to comfort and strengthen him today and every day! Thank you my friends,

Psalm 94:11 (ESV) "the Lord—knows the thoughts of man, that they are but a breath."

Psalm 139:23 (ESV)"Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts!"

Isaiah 49:16 (ESV) "Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me."

These are the words of those in the past who loved and had confidence in God. God was faithful to them. God is faithful to us now as well. His word is as true today as it was thousands of years ago. It was true when God told Jeremiah, For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for wholeness and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 (ESV) God's promises are as faithful as when he said, Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. Jeremiah 33:3 (ESV) The one thing that does not change and we can count on is the Word of the Lord. It is always true and faithful.

Lord God, thank you for hearing our prayers and the prayers of my brother Faron. Thank you for being mindful of his circumstances in all situations where he needs your help. You are a good and faithful God. You hear us and answer when we pray to you. Collective prayer is powerful prayer! When believers in ancient times went together to pray you shook the foundations of an empire! Your power and majesty was shown in every circumstance. We know you will do that know. All who know of this will praise you and know it is you who have done a great thing! Thank you God! We praise you and worship you in Jesus' name. AMEN.

Buster and all that have prayed...

your prayers and your posting of the prayer request is more than appreciated...we just received a call from my son in KY...the baby is doing better! they have reduced the % of pure O2 they had Jayden on to almost natural levels. They removed the UV lamp as well.

in such a short time has God intervened because of the prayers and thoughts...Satan does not stand a chance with this much love and faith!

That is great my friend! God is so good! He truly does hear us when we pray. He says, "Call unto me and I WILL answer you and show you great and mighty things that you do not know..." Jer. 33:3 I have read that so many times in my life, and always found it to be true!
